Taylor and Taylor’s wedding at Chelsea Pub was a relaxed, cocktail-style celebration designed around time spent with the people closest to them. With the ceremony upstairs at the pub and their getting-ready spaces tucked into the nearby cottages, the entire day unfolded in a way that felt personal and connected from beginning to end.

After nearly a decade together and years spent living between Australia, the UK, and Canada, their wedding marked an especially meaningful milestone. From quiet moments with family before the ceremony to time outdoors together during portraits in Chelsea’s natural surroundings, the day reflected the ease and familiarity they’ve built together over the years. With space for guests to mingle throughout the evening and a setting that balanced the warmth of the pub with the surrounding landscape of Chelsea, the celebration felt natural, welcoming, and true to the way they chose to bring everyone together.

One of my favourite parts of photographing Taylor and Taylor’s wedding at the Chelsea Pub was how naturally the layout of the venue supported the relaxed flow they had planned for their day. Having their ceremony upstairs and their reception just steps away made it easy for guests to stay connected throughout the celebration, while the nearby cottages created a calm and comfortable space for getting ready earlier in the day. The surrounding gardens and forested areas also gave us beautiful portrait locations close by without needing to travel between stops.

The Chelsea Pub is such a unique wedding venue in Chelsea for couples planning a smaller or cocktail-style celebration near Gatineau Park.
