What It’s Like to Work Together

We start with a conversation about what you’re planning and what matters most to you on your wedding day. During this consultation, we’ll walk through your wedding day together and talk through your timeline, venue plans, and how photography fits into the flow of your celebration. It’s also a chance to ask questions and share what feels most important to you, whether that’s family photos, a first look, or time for sunset portraits. I’ll share suggestions based on what I’ve seen work well across weddings so you can choose coverage with confidence and have a clear sense of what the day can look like ahead.

NEXT

Once you’ve chosen the collection that feels right for your day, your wedding date is officially reserved with a signed agreement and retainer. From there, I remain available throughout the planning process to answer questions and support you as your timeline and plans take shape. As your wedding approaches, I’m always happy to help with photography planning, whether that’s thinking through portrait timing, preparing for your engagement session if one is included, or making sure everything fits comfortably alongside the flow of your celebration.

Engagement sessions are a chance for us to spend some time together before your wedding day and help you feel comfortable in front of the camera. It’s a relaxed way to get to know each other while creating photos that reflect this season of your lives. I’ll guide you throughout the session so you never have to worry about what to do, and we can choose a location that feels meaningful to you or that fits the look you’re hoping for. Many couples find this makes their wedding day portraits feel much more natural and familiar.

NEXT

On your wedding day, my focus is on documenting everything as it unfolds while helping the day move smoothly and comfortably. From getting ready through your ceremony, portraits, and reception, I’m there to capture the moments you’ve planned for and the ones you didn’t expect. Because we’ve already talked through your timeline and priorities together, you can stay present with the people around you while I take care of guiding portraits and capturing the story of your day as it naturally happens.

04. Wedding Day

NEXT

After your wedding, I begin carefully selecting and editing your images to reflect the story of your day. You’ll receive a preview gallery shortly after your wedding so you have a few favourites to revisit and share while everything is still fresh, followed by your full gallery once the editing process is complete. Your images are delivered through an online gallery where they’re easy to view, download, and share with family and friends. My goal during this stage is to make sure your photos feel easy to access, enjoyable to revisit, and ready to be shared with the people who were part of your celebration.

Questions

How far out do we need to book?

Most couples book 12-18 months in advance, especially for peak season dates. If your wedding is sooner, I always recommend reaching out — occasionally I have availability for select dates.

Do you Travel?

Yes. I photograph weddings throughout Ottawa, Ontario, and Quebec, and I'm available for select destination celebrations. Travel details are customized based on your venue and timeline.

Do you offer payment plans?

Absolutely. Your date is secured with a retainer, and the remaining balance is divided into installments leading up to your wedding, allowing you to plan with clarity and ease.

Can we order prints and albums?

Yes. Your gallery includes access to professional print products, and I offer heirloom wedding albums designed to preserve your images beautifully for generations.

Who are your second shooters?

I work with a trusted team of experienced photographers who align closely with my style and approach, ensuring seamless and consistent coverage throughout your entire wedding day.

Can we see a full wedding gallery?

Of course. I'm happy to share full wedding galleries upon request so you can see how an entire day is documented from start to finish, from quiet getting-ready moments to the energy of the dance floor.

How many hours of coverage do we need?

Most weddings require 8-10 hours of coverage to fully document the day. During our consultation, we'll build a timeline together to determine what best fits your celebration.
